BMI Categories
- Underweight: BMI less than 18.5
- Normal: BMI between 18.5 and 23.9
- Overweight: BMI between 24 and 27.9
- Obese: BMI 28 or higher
Examples
Example 1: A person who is 175 cm tall and weighs 70 kg has a BMI of 22.9 (Normal).
Example 2: A person who is 160 cm tall and weighs 50 kg has a BMI of 19.5 (Normal).
