How to Use
This tool converts between regular text and Morse code. Morse code uses dots (.) and dashes (-) to represent letters, numbers, and punctuation.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Enter Text: Type your text in the input field (for encoding) or enter Morse code (for decoding)
- Choose Action: Click "Encode to Morse" to convert text to Morse code, or "Decode from Morse" to convert Morse code to text
- View Result: The converted result will appear in the output area
Morse Code Basics:
- Dot (.) = Short signal
- Dash (-) = Long signal
- Space = Separates letters
- Slash (/) = Separates words
Examples:
- Text to Morse: "HELLO" โ ".... . .-.. .-.. ---"
- Morse to Text: ".... . .-.. .-.. ---" โ "HELLO"

Common Morse Code Patterns:
- SOS: "... --- ..." (Emergency signal)
- OK: "--- -.-"
- YES: "-. ---"
- NO: "-. ---"
Tips for Better Results:
- Use proper spacing between letters and words
- For decoding, ensure Morse code is properly formatted
- Case doesn't matter for encoding (automatically converts to uppercase)
- Only letters and numbers are supported in this tool
Common Use Cases:
- Learning Morse code for amateur radio
- Emergency communication training
- Historical communication studies
- Puzzle solving and cryptography
- Military and aviation training
Important Notes:
- This tool uses standard International Morse Code
- Only letters A-Z and numbers 0-9 are supported
- For learning purposes, practice with simple words first
- Real Morse code communication requires proper timing and rhythm
