What this tool does

Minifies and pretty‑prints JSON, escapes/unescapes characters, copies and clears. Parses in‑browser to keep data private.

Steps

Paste JSON into the editor.
Click Format to pretty‑print or Minify to compress.
Use Escape/Unescape to toggle escaping; Copy/Clear as needed.

Examples

Invalid JSON shows a syntax error with the approximate line number.
Tabs are inserted as two spaces when pressing Tab in the editor.

Notes

Ensure valid UTF‑8 characters; control characters must be escaped.
Operations run locally; no content leaves your browser.
